“ Our family goes to a different small family owned breakfast spot once a month. Most places we have been miss the mark and we don't write bad reviews for them out of principle of not trying to destroy a family business but we just don't return. This is one of 2 places we would return the other being Mary's Hash House (Sahara/Decatur) That said the food here was great zero issues (I have dietary restrictions/requests and no issues, cute interior, nice staff. Couldn't ask for more- food was served hot that's my #1 issue w most places serving luke warm food. I guess my only issue is why are people giving 4 stars w stellar reviews .. they deserve a 5 . ”
“ NORMans is a gem! We enjoyed our late breakfast very much. Cozy diner atmosphere with the nicest waitstaff. DH had a lovely steak and eggs while I enjoyed a crab Benedict. Modest crabby patty just the right amount of crab, perfectly poached eggs and light sauce. The photo shows one, I already demolished the other one by the time I thought to take a photo sorry. Loved their country potatoes- grilled not deep fried. Little one had the grilled cheese and fries kids meal and he practically inhaled it all. This is our new favorite breakfast place now. Thanks we will be back!!!!! ”
“ Small family business with very good food and great prices. I have been here several times and have always been pleased. Keep up the good work. ”
“ Was starving after 2 hours at the DMV. Found this Diner. Great little spot. Food was delicious and the waiter was courteous. Great customer service! The space was super clean and had an outdoor patio area. Come in and have breakfast or lunch ”
“ We've been coming here for 3 years straight and truly can say we NEVER have regretted it.. this place is delicious!! The customer service is excellent! It's been the same people working here for the past few years. Restaurant is always relaxing with old time music and clean environment. And lastly the prices are a no brainer!!! The quality is very consistent as well! If you're looking for an enjoyable meal and a satisfying ending then this is your spot! ”
“ My husband and I have visited twice, first for breakfast 7:15am,don't remember what my husband had, but I know he enjoyed it, I hadn't had Chilaquiles in a long time so I ordered that, very very good even had leftovers, had them for lunch (still delish), next we went for lunch(few days later, we ate on patio because we were accompanied by our twins (pups) my husband ordered a cheese burger with extra patty, yikes it was huge he enjoyed the whole burger and fries, I ordered Liver and Onions OMG, SO DELICIOUS a large tender piece with lots of carmelized onions and delicious mashed potatoes and crunchy green beans (I let the twins have a taste of liver they agreed, mom it was delicious) no leftovers this time, I ate the whole meal !! We recommend this little gem, and if you have pets the patio is comfy and well shaded. So treat yourselves and enjoy ”
“ Loved this spot. Came for breakfast/lunch and everything was just awesome. It has this small town feel on the inside and the staff is so so friendly. Service was top notch and our server made me the best iced vanilla latte I've ever had. For a small spot they use great coffee and have a nice coffee machine as well. I had the Elvis Chopped Steak and my girl had the eggs Benedict. Both were spectacular and had great flavor. I highly recommend this spot and plan on returning soon. I also recommend their house made hot sauce, we picked up a bottle of the red to bring home. ”
“ Today I had classic eggs Benedict and hash-brown potatoes. Everything was done perfectly. I love my hollandaise sauce and most places never serve enough so I asked for extra on the side. Well, that wasn't necessary. The sauce was excellent the eggs were done to perfection along with the REAL Canadian bacon and English muffin. The hash-browns were also done perfectly. Oh, I had regular coffee which was strong like I like it . Our servers were pleasant and attentive too! ”
“ As we were heading to .. another place.. for breakfast, we spotted this tucked away in small shopping center. We decided to turn around and give it a try. Being from the Midwest, we miss our small town hangouts and 'go to' places for breakfast. Norman's did NOT disappoint! We were relaxing in the great music of the 60s-80s and videos on the TV to correspond. It was nice and warm, not hot, and not cold. We started off with some hot tea and coffee. My wife said the coffee was unique and better than any she'd been served at other places. I ordered hot tea, and while it was hot, it was just plain old Lipton tea... It would be nice to have other options. Then came the food. My wife was torn between the Lox platter, Lox omelet, but ultimately chose the Chilaquiles. I'm not all sure what's in that dish, but you can see from the pictures, it looks good. She finished her plate, which we never do. I am a fan of eggs Benedict, but also appreciate a good country fried steak. I would judge any place by either. I ended up ordering the crab cake Benedict. This was not a mistake. The crab cake looked and tasted fresh made, it was flaky, and didn't stay together like an artificial hockey puck served at most places. The presentation was amazing, the English muffin was crispy on the edges, which is a nice change from a raw muffin being thrown on to get soggy. It came with a requested side of crispy hash browns, and they were perfect. My wife also enjoyed a 5.00 strawberry mimosa, which she enjoyed very much. They also had mango, and some other flavors that I can't recall off the top of my head. In summary, the service was excellent, the menu is diverse, the food quality was absolutely spot on. The food prices are much less than the other breakfast places, which are getting cheap in quality, and raising prices beyond reasonable. Check this place out, you won't be disappointed. ”
